This is a cute book that tells the story of 'what might have happened' in the parable of the lost sheep in the Bible, Matthew 18:12-13. Any child will enjoy the story line as well as the precious pictures. I love the star on the little lamb's chest. The writers, Lancaster and Kight teaches a child not to wander off and that the good shepherd loves all his sheep and if one is lost, will search until he finds the lost lamb. The illustrations by Dave O'Connell will keep the child engaged.
My 5* review of Guess How Much God Loves You by Karen Ferguson
Children will be enchanted by this story that explains how much God loves them by focusing on the first seven days of the world—creation of course. The wonderful illustrations add depth to this delightful children’s story.
It makes me want to snuggle with one of my grandchildren as we “read” together this great book. Mine are older, but I’ll keep this in mind for the great grandkids.
I would’ve loved to have this available to me when I taught children’s church.
God loves us so much He created an amazing world for us to enjoy, love, and take care of.
We get a tickle of anticipation in the sequel about Jesus. I can’t wait to read the follow up picture book stories by Karen Ferguson.
I received an advanced digital copy, but the review is all mine, and I highly recommend this picture book for children of all ages.
